How do I convert a wah wah pedal to volume AND wah pedal?

I am making a home made wah wah pedal and have found the Schematics for the Maestro Boomerang BG-2 WAH/VOL pedal (link: http://www.schematicheaven.com/effects/maestro_boomer_wahvol.pdf )and the Dunlop Cry Baby Original WAH pedal (link: http://www.schematicheaven.com/effects/dunlop_orig_wah_LAH.pdf ). I am using the Cry Baby as my main circuit but on the BG-2 there is a switch that turns the wah effect into a volume effect. I would like to convert the Cry Baby so that it has a switch like this as well, but as the circuits are slightly different I am unsure of where to connect it. Could someone give me any clues as to where it goes? Thanks.

The circuits are different, so it’s not quite as easy to do it on the Cry Baby.

You will need a SPDT switch.

1. Remove the wire from the slider of the 100k potentiometer.
2. Attach the potentiometer slider to the center arm of the SPDT switch.
3. Attach one of the switch end terminals to the capacitor that was originally connected to the potentiometer
4. Attach the other end terminal of the switch to ground (bottom of the potentiometer in the schematic).

That should do it.
