Would a BMW1000R motorcycle engine fit instead on the 2CV and if 4WD is possible w/a transfer case as well?

Where are the springs, I detect the oil cylinders, but not the springs? Where can I get Schematics?

Anything can be done… at a cost. It won’t be straightforward, you have to find a transmission that can handle the extra power.
There was a 4×4 version a long time ago in the form of a small all-terrain vehicle (Mehari). You might try to get the parts.
The suspension has the interconnected “cylinders”, one per side, each serving both wheels on that side. The torsion (round bar) springs are used. check with the 2CV enthusiast groups, there are many.
