Schematic Led

Variable blinking led circuit?

I need to make a circuit that has a blinking led. There needs to be a way to make the circuit go faster and slower. I want it to be able to blink faster then you can see if possible. Please draw up a schematic or show me a link to where i can find how to make this. Parts list would also be helpful.
