Schematic Editor

GC Basic programming Help?

I wish to learn the great cow basic programming as this looks easy for me to understand. I have some downloads of the program as a note pad editor however I am not to sure on how to start using this. I wish to ask some just a a few more questions to guide me along or just get me started along the way. That is the Circuit Schematic needed and the most suitable IC for a quick and simple project. I looked at Maplab and there software but it looks to hard for me. Any suggestions?
