What does th stand for when referred to a Circuit Diagram?

Does anybody know what th stands for in regards to a circuit board? The Schematic Symbol looks similar to a resistor with a circle completely around it. Thanks.

its probably a thermistor. A resistor whose resistance varies with temperature.
