What is the best software for drawing automotive Electrical Schematics?
I’m looking for an inexpensive (less than $100) program for drawing automotive Wiring diagrams and schematics. Something with the capability to create symbols and icons for various automotive devices such as switches, relays, motors, etc. Is Autosketch more than I need?
Cad Standard is a good generic CAD package that might do what you want. I use it for basic toolpaths to convert to g-code for my CNC milling machine.
If you want something that is more tailored for electronics try the PCB123 software.
Both of these are free.
