Where is the timer on the Maytag refrigerator MZD2766gew located?

Can you give me a schematic or diagram. It would help but it isn’t entirly needed.

The defrost timer for the refrigerator is in the panel behind the light assembly in the refrigerator side. The timer has about 4 wires in a harness / connector that plugs into it. It may look like part of the panel that comes apart. Just enter one of the part numbers into the website search form that I supplied below. The picture of it will pop up so you can identify it.
Depending on the series number your part numbers are as follows: 12002104 DEFROST KIT,ENHANCED ADAPTIVE for series 25
or
part number 61005988 DEFROST ASSY., ADAPTIVE for series 19
or
61003990 DEFROST ASSY., ADAPTIVE for series 10

to find the series number you’ll have to find your serial number on your appliance. It is usually the first or last set of numbers on the serial number.
