Led Schematics

What are the Schematics/parts needed for a Knight Rider LED Scanner?

I’m planning on making something similar to the LED Scanner in Knight Rider. However, I’m planning on using around 50 LEDs (yes, fifty). What are electronic parts needed for so many LEDs and what is the schematics please?
