Schematics for ethernet cable to data transfer cable?

i need schematics to turn ethernet cable into data transfer cable.
borrowed a cable from friend and now i need one. put liux on my x box now want to add some more stuff to it

What do you mean “data transfer” cable?

There are two types of eithernet – patch and crossover. Patch is for routers/hub/switch-to-computers, crossover is for computer-to-computer (without hubs, switches, or routers)
