Crystal Oscillator Schematic

Colpitts oscillator (Local Oscillator for a RX)?

Hi,
I am trying to make a crystal controlled Colpitts oscillator, the crystal is at 50mhz (not overtone)

I am having a few problems … I can make it run with a coil and a cap at 50mhz but want to use the crystal can anyone point me in the direction of a schematic?

Yes, if the frequency is controlled by a crystal, it’s not really a Colpitt’s oscillator any more. Do a search on ‘Pierce Oscillator’ for comparable Schematics.
