starting Wiring problem?

ok I’m working on a 73 chevy caprice with a 402 motor and a stock ignition system. my problem is in the wiring from the battery to the coil and the ignition. it all melted and I’m not sure what goes where and for some reason i cant seem to find a schematic on line or at the local parts stores. can anyone tell me how the wiring is ran or point me in the right direction of finding a diagram please.

There’s one wire from the Ignition Switch, and another from one of the small terminals on the Starter that go to the Coil terminal marked “+”. The one from the Ignition is a resistance wire, to keep the points from burning out. Another wire (black) goes from the coil “-” terminal to the Distributor points. The points are chassis-grounded in the Distributor. Here’s a couple diagrams that have wire colors and such;
